Baby's first words Empty Baby's first words

Having a home of their own was pretty weird, seeing as their last few involved blonde haired women, that they loved, being killed. Paranoid father, Sam, made sure to have this one cleansed before installing the crib. Not that it mattered to dean, since demon's now lived with them.

"Winchesters, I've taken the liberty of installing bibles in every room of the house. Three in the demon's room, for good measure." Castiel replied smoothly, while danging a feather between Robin's hands.

Sam moved boxes, one at a time, like a lady, into their new house.

"That's great Cas, but we could really use more help somewhere else." He then looked down at the box he was holding, and realized it was filled with dirty magazines. "Dean!"

"You should tell him, God did not intend for man to copulate with himself. Children of the Lord are not born that way." Castiel added, in case they didn't know. "Shall I watch the child while you talk?"

"I'll take the liberty of defacing all of those bibles after Sam moves his sissy butt so I can finish moving these boxes." Callas had three boxes stacked in her arms and a fourth hovering behind her telekinetically, and she nudged past her husband--still such a bizarre concept--before slipping into the room they supposedly would go. Dean immediately exited the aforementioned room, having been leaving some porn mags for Sam to find later, and strode over to Castiel with Demon #2.

"Yeah, whatever he said. When this marriage loses its spice, you'll think of how considerate I was to pack those Latin Beauty Mags for you, Sammy. And then Rob might spare us a bloodthirsty rampage when he hits puberty if he has a better sin to spank, right?" One brow cocked, he watched Robin clap his hands around the feather before staring at it in fascination. His slight fingers curled around the softness of it, clutching it to his chest as he stared adoringly up at Castiel. For a two year old, he didn't try to talk much, but if there was one syllable he spammed, it had to be--

"Ca! Ca! Ca!" With a ridiculous amount of energy, he toppled towards Castiel's leg, clinging to his pants and peering at the approaching form of his mother.

"Callas?" She prompted him, leaning down and tweaking his nose with affection before exiting to grab the last of the boxes.

"More like, 'Call the hellhounds, because I'm in need of banishment.'" Dean crossed his arms unhappily, though he didn't sound too spiteful.

Baby's first words Empty Re: Baby's first words

"D-Dean, not in front of the Mrs and the baby!" Sam whined, lowering his voice to a whisper. "I-I told you, the remote was broken and stuck on that channel, and... and I was watching it... for science! You know, like, like research. I don't have dreams about callas with golden tanned skin, wearing a sombrero or anything! H-How dare you suggest that!"

His cheeks went red as he remembered he was carrying a camera that was recording all of this for Robin to watch when he gets older. Poor Robin.

Castiel picked the toddler up, propping him on his shoulder so he could play with the large fluttering wing.

"Dean, I do not believe babies can form sentences, or say the word 'banishment', so I doubt that is what he is trying to say. But, alas, I am not very knowledgeable on the younger forms of humans. Robin, I order you to not call hellhounds." He nodded sternly, then patted Robin's head. "Good young human. You have made God proud today."

"He's right, hellhounds are the last thing we need. It's bad enough he's going to say Callas, and not Daddy! I mean, I spent 9 months carrying him and... wait... that wasn't me." Sam pouted. "Roooobin! Love meeeeee"

"Yeah, something in your pants was watching pretty intently, too. See, one more reason to ditch the demon and find yourself a nice, curvy, r-rolling Latin woman. Sounds like a good deal, right?" Eyebrows waggling, Dean elbowed his brother suggestively, wishing he'd take to the idea, already. It was never too late. In fact, Dean had formulated an intricate escape plan for the second that Sam showed a lick of sense, which involved making a bust for the Impala while Dean did his usual demon-slayer routine. It hadn't failed him, yet.

"Caaaaaaa!" Robin chortled, currently more than pleased to be so high up on Castiel's shoulders. His short arms flapped towards the angel's wing, as if trying to fly, himself, breath quick with excitement.

"Pffft, I bet the thing will be speaking Latin and cursing us all to hell before he's stops falling on his face when he walks."

"Oh, trust me, Dean, if he's cursing anyone it'll be you. Be useful for ten seconds and take this." Before Dean could protest, Callas had returned to shove a box into his arms, setting her own down nearby and moving to ruffle Sam's hair. Dean, meanwhile, grumbled under his breath and peeked into the box, deciding that, since it was Sam's junk, he could take this moment to sabotage it with the special edition Latin Beauty mags that he'd intended to put under his mattress. Demon witches didn't bring Dean Winchester down, nor did they boss him around; he just decided to listen for his own benefit, and coolly slipped out.

As Sam whined for his son's attention, Robin's black eyes obliged him, following the noise of his father's voice to giggle cheerfully as he captured Castiel's wing for a hug.

"Caaaaaasil! Casil! Casiiiiil!" Burrowing his face into the feathers, Robin tried to bounce where he sat as Callas froze into place.

"Castiel?! What?! Bird-brain, I told you not to brainwash him! Is this why you stuck to my stomach like glue, when I was pregnant? Ooh, you bastard."

Baby's first words Empty Re: Baby's first words

Sam tried not to look too guilty when Callas ruffled his hair. He failed.

"I-I didn't do anything!" He gasped, staring at the floor. Luckily though, the attention was shifted. Unluckily, Robin's first word was Castiel, or the closest her could say to that.

"Oh. I do believe he is speaking to me." Castiel cleared his throat and held Robin out in front of him, so they could make eye contact. "Yes, child. What is it?"

Only when Sam screamed, did he realize what was happening.

"Oh, the name the child first says, signifies who he loves most in your culture, right? I suppose that is me. Do not feel burdened sister. I shall raise him as my own if you wish." He cradled Robin, assuming this was a sign from god that he could keep him. "I will change his name to Gabriel, so he is no longer named after a bird."

"Caaaaaasil!" Intrigued by his father's scream, Robin sought to repeat it, finding the situation highly entertaining. He made no fuss as he was cradled, instead pressing his curled fist into his nose. Some habits had yet to change.

"Oh no you don't, Cassie! He's my kid, and no one is taking him away from me." Brows knit in livid lines, Callas marched over to Castiel's side, plucking Robin from his arms and holding him close to her body. "Robin is also going to stay as Robin, thanks. If you want a kid, you can go suffer for it, like I did. Besides, your wings need some clipping, nosy, son-stealing stiff."

"Casil? Casil!" Tiny hands braced on his mother's shoulders, Robin twisted 'round to grin at Castiel, as if some sort of game were being played. For Callas, it was a game of seeing how much she could spite Castiel in the span of a few minutes. The amount that was congealing in her chest was impressive, so far.

Dean had made it back into the main room after his deliciously Latin plotting had been set, and he looked completely smug. After all, it wasn't hard to hear the kid one room over; he had evil demon lungs that were perfect for chanting for hours, Dean was sure.

"Ouch. See, Sam? Your spawn doesn't even feel grateful to ol' pops for donating. This is the perfect chance to high-tail it. I can have that Impala running in an instant." Throwing his arm around Sam's shoulders, Dean kept his voice low, nodding towards the door. Towards freedom.

"Sister, you know I am celibate." He handed Robin back over. "It is not my place to produce children in this borrowed body. You know that."

He saw Robin turn to look back at him.

"If you change your mind, Sister, you know I will take charge of him." The corner of his mouth crooked up into a half smile as he nodded to the toddler.

"Dada is sooo much easier to say than either of their names, Robbie! Whhhhhhy." Sam sniffled, watching them from across the room. "Dean, stop. Look..."

He turned to his brother, putting a hand on Dean's shoulder.

"I know you're jealous. You really want to have a kid and settle down to. Don't worry, when the time is right, it will happen. I love you."
