Akosua Riker

NAME: Akosua Riker.
AGE: Twenty years.
SEX: Female.
BUILD: Beanpole.

APPEARANCE: Brown-skinned and light-haired, it's easy to see that Akosua is a surface dweller. Her blanched hair sits atop her head in an immaculate bun, but when set free, it easily dusts the center of her back in pin-straight waves. Pale skin in the shape of a pair of goggles surround stormy gray eyes. Akosua likes to wear as little clothing as possible at all times, modesty be damned. Because of it, she has come to know the word “sunburn” extraordinarily well.

PERSONALITY: Akosua desperately wishes that she could leave her responsibilities, but isn't quite brave enough to act on the impulse. Instead, she uses delinquency as her catharsis, and likes to surreptitiously prank those around her. Her stress levels affect the magnitude of her delinquency. On the whole, Akosua is a loud, take-charge woman who worries and frets far too much. She is very vocal, and often gets lost in her thoughts, stomping around and hollering over whatever is on her mind.

ABILITY: Portal-making. She can open them up anywhere, and they appear as oval windows that display her destination. Only one at a time can be made, it seems, for if she opens up a second while the first has yet to close, it will do so automatically. Akosua has yet to harness control over this ability, however, and will often times mess up her destination, or leave accidental portals in her wake.

STRENGTHS: Sneaking around for tom-foolery, escaping sticky situations, losing tails/stalkers, and tailing/stalking others in return.
WEAKNESSES: Commiting to most anything, technology, cold desert nights, keeping secrets, tends to start things and never finish them.

BIO: As a member of the tech city, one would expect that Akosua would be a skilled builder, but the truth is quite the opposite. Most everything she assembles blows up, fries, or simply won't work. She never saw herself as a decent leader, and never wanted the responsibility that came after her power revealed itself. At the same time, Akosua doesn't really know where her life skills lie, and because of that, she is too frightened to leave the only life she knows. Many a time, she has fled tech city, but it never takes her long to return, and she always has an excuse for her departure and her return. Current leaders have tried to keep her within the city by having others watch her, but it never works out for long, since the girl sends herself through portals more often than not.
